Do you ever read books written by local authors? I think they deserve their own special place in the local library. They should be double filed, under “Local Authors” and the category they are in. (Perhaps they are already? I have no idea.) I have seen many of these books for sale at the library book sales, and I think that’s a terrible thing to do. Maybe the authors descendants will want to read them and it’s just a “Good thing” to do for the community. Don’t sell them! Keep them there forever! I just started one today called SUSQUEHANNA by Harriet Segal. (c) 1985). .
