MAINE by J. Courtney Sullivan

I borrowed this book from out tiny town’s library which is located in the old historic school which I attended many decades ago, in one of the large large downstairs classrooms. MAINE  (c)2011, is a novel by J. Courtney Sullivan. She also wrote the bestseller COMMENCEMENT which I haven’t read yet. This is the story of the Kelleher family, including 4 unforgettable women. 3 generations of Kellehers meet in this seaside cottage in Maine. This very Irish tale is mainly about pregnant thirty two year old Maggie, Ann Marie her sister-in-law, Kathleen, the black sheep of the family and Alice the matriarch of the family. It sounds interesting doesn’t it?

NOTE: I’m nearly finished reading this book. I did enjoy it and I look forward to more stories by J. Courtney Sullivan. I can probably count on her books being full of Irish folk!
